Hawk was from our outstanding Summer 2015 breeding between our gorgeous Sophia, BBPIS BPIS MBIS BOSS CAN GCH/AM CH Starring-Maat Original Sin and the handsome SugarRay,  MBISS MBIS CAN GCH EX/AM GCH Mytuk's Technical Knock Out.  SugarRay was Canada's #1 Alaskan Malamute in 2011, 2012 & 2013.  Sophia was Canada's #1 Alaskan Malamute bitch in 2015, #2 overall, and #1 bitch in 2013.  This was a long awaited and very special breeding, and the puppies did not disappoint!  In fact, we ended up keeping two puppies from this litter as we were just so impressed with the quality.

Hawk went to his first show at the tender age of 3 months.  In his ring debut, he surpassed all of our expectations and won two Best Baby Puppy In Groups and a Best Baby Puppy In Show!  From there, we were off to the US Alaskan Malamute Nationals where he won Best of Opposite Baby at the Regional and Best of Opposite Baby In Show at the National.  Back in Canada, he later won another Baby Puppy Group at 5 months of age.  Hawk then began competing for points towards his Canadian Championship at 7 months of age and is already a Multi-Best of Breed winner and well on his way to achieving this title.  In April 2016, Hawk attended the Canadian National in Alberta where he finished his Championship the first day.  He then made it to the final cut his first time in the ring as a Special at the National, and was awarded Best Puppy In Specialty Show.  We gave him some time to mature over the summer and brought him back out in July 2016; within 2 weekends he completed his Grand Championship and picked up several Group Placements - all at only 1 year of age!  Hawk also completed his American Championship in only 2 weekends including Specialty wins with 4 majors.  Hawk also became a Multi-Best In Specialty Show winner with back-to-back Specialty wins in Michigan at only 22 months old!  Hawk is the #1 Alaskan Malamute in Canada for 2017!  He won his most recent Best In Specialty Show in Manitoba at the MWHA Alaskan Malamute Specialty at 2.5 years old.  He also won a Reserve Best In Show under Mr John Rowton at this show.
